ICC Arbitration Breakfast Returns to Romania for Its Second Edition

12 Februarie 2026   |   BizLawyer

The event is intended for professionals engaged in international arbitration - lawyers, arbitrators, mediators, in-house counsel, academics and experts.

The second edition of the 'ICC Arbitration Breakfast in Romania' is scheduled to take place on 18 March 2026 in Bucharest. Organized by ICC Dispute Resolution Services - the dispute resolution arm of the International Chamber of Commerce - in partnership with the law firms Schoenherr and Addleshaw Goddard, the event serves as a dedicated forum for dialogue among international arbitration practitioners operating in Romania.

The 'ICC Arbitration Breakfast in Romania' series was launched in 2025 at the initiative of the current ICC Court members for Romania, Ioana Knoll-Tudor (Partner, Addleshaw Goddard; Member, ICC Court) and Sebastian Guțiu (Office Managing Partner, Schoenherr Romania; Alternate Member, ICC Court). As with the inaugural edition, they will co-host the event together with Alexander G. Fessas (Secretary General, ICC Court; Director, ICC Dispute Resolution Services).

Alongside the hosts, prominent figures from the Romanian arbitration community will address current practical issues arising in ICC arbitration, combining the perspective of arbitration practitioners with that of in-house counsel teams from companies active in sectors such as energy and construction. The agenda will cover topics such as 'ICC Arbitration: Trends and Distinctive Features' and ' Demystifying Costs in ICC Arbitration'.

The event is intended for professionals engaged in international arbitration - lawyers, arbitrators, mediators, in-house counsel, academics and experts.
