Stratulat Albulescu bolsters its Real Estate practice with the appointment of Managing Associate Manuela Iurascu and Associate Irina Caragea

These new additions to our firm bring the total number of fee earners in the Real Estate group to 9, making the practice one of the largest in the market and at the same time strengthening the team’s ability to advise on the full gamut of real estate matters.

An expert in the area of real estate and construction, Manuela Iurascu joined our firm after working for more than 12 years at a local boutique law firm where she developed a vast array of skills, and acting as in-house counsel at a local real estate developer for 4 years. Her clients included foreign investors entering the Romanian market and evolving into key players in their respective sectors. Her expertise encompassed diverse projects, ranging from the acquisition/sale of real estate assets and continuing with the development of real estate projects (especially in the logistic area), to green energy (photovoltaic and wind parks).

With over 8 years of experience in real estate, Irina Caragea acted as in-house counsel for two of the most important developers on the Romanian real estate market, thus gaining extensive industry knowledge while being responsible for overseeing the companies’ legal operations in Romania. With remarkable drafting and analytical skills, accompanied by in-depth knowledge, Irina focuses on advising clients on a wide range of agreements, with emphasis on lease agreements in Logistic and Retail fields.
