Dentons becomes the first law firm signatory of the Diversity Charter in Romania

Dentons Bucharest is the first law firm to join the Diversity Charter program in Romania, to support diversity and inclusion in the workplace and to further encourage and support organizations to implement successful initiatives in diversity management.

The Firm thus joins the vast network of companies committed to promoting and implementing the principles of diversity and equal opportunities in and outside of the workplace.

Dentons has signed the Diversity Charters in all European countries where the Firm has offices and at the same time, where Diversity Charters exist: Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Poland, The Czech Republic and Luxembourg.

The Romanian Diversity Charter (http://www.cartadiversitatii.ro/) was launched on April 18, 2018 in Bucharest to encourage organizations to develop and implement diversity and inclusion policies and to promote diversity and equal opportunities in the workplace, regardless of, for example, age, disability, gender, race or ethnic origin, religion or sexual orientation. The implementation of the Charter was co-funded by the Rights, Equality and Citizenship Program of the European Union.
